The Connecx Oxymecx Silicone Foam Dressing is a wound dressing which is soft and conformable, combined with a latex-free, sterile design, ensures it can be safely applied to sensitive skin without causing trauma during dressing changes. The vapors permeable, water-proof film allows for extended wear, up to seven days, making it a convenient option for single-use applications in both hospital and home care settings.

This medical polyurethane foam, coated with silicone adhesive, is ideal for patients needing wound care in challenging-to-dress areas or around skin contours.

How it works?

The medical polyurethane foam in the dressing is designed to rapidly absorb and retain large amounts of exudate to prevent it from pooling and causing maceration.

The dressing helps to maintain a moist environment which is crucial for optimal healing. This balance prevents the wound from drying out, promoting faster cell regeneration, and reducing pain during dressing changes.
